This place is right next to the Mt Pleasant Industrial Park where I work. The place is good with more traditional food. I like their wraps.
Please make sure you carry cash on you. -

This is GONE. Drove 8 mi off the interstate to find this place and it no longer exists. We got our hopes up w the reviews of good ole country cookin only to find a No Trespassing sign and a gnarly old man standing on his porch who looked like he'd cook US with some favA beans!

This place has few frills but if you enjoy down-home cooking, the place is for you. Each day there is a choice of up to four main dishes. Some of the regular dishes are fried chicken ,chicken and dumplings, meatloaf, and other country favorites. With that comes a choice of three sides including vegetables, macaroni and cheese, cottage cheese, slaw; and regular vegetables such as corn, mashed potatoes pinto beans, green beans, and others. All this comes for around $6 or less. You may also order off a menu. The cheeseburgers and fries are great. They also have a salad bar and a breakfast bar on weekends. The waitresses are always friendly but hurried with all the business they have. Hours are unusual so look before you go. It is easy to find, immediately off the 4 Lane bypass on the west side of Greeneville.

PSA: This restaurant does not take credit cards; cash only. Review: The employees are very friendly and nice. However, they never have enough help and be prepared to experience long waits for assistance. They are only open for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights, and only serve catfish on Friday nights. They run out of their dinner specials quickly throughout the evenings. It is not uncommon for them to come back to our table twice to have us re-order due to running out of items. The food is usually good although it is nothing to write home about in my opinion. The catfish has a tempura batter on it. The hamburgers need a bit of seasoning on them but they steam the buns and they are more "homemade" than "processed". Their french fries are crinkle cut. Their ketchup is Heinz. Their sweet iced tea is super sweet so we usually ask for half sweet and half un-sweet. The restaurant is mostly clean. They do have flexible seating arrangements but no booths. They do have a salad bar that is really pretty nice with the basics. This is a nice alternative to the few other dinner restaurants in the area. My advice would be to come early, come with cash. If you come after 6:00 pm on a Friday night be flexible on your dinner choice.
